Benchmark Assessments & Data Tracking

Research‑Aligned. FERPA‑Friendly. Designed for Real Growth.

Each Math Guru® Intervention Cohort includes three benchmark assessments that measure student growth over the 6‑week cycle. These benchmarks allow your school to see clear, measurable progress — while keeping all daily student work private and teacher‑owned.

Benchmark Schedule (6‑Week Cohort)

Week 1 — Pre‑Test (Baseline Diagnostic) Measures all major skills taught across Weeks 1–6. Establishes a clean starting point for every student.
Week 3 — Mid‑Cycle Exam (Progress Check) Measures only the skills taught in Weeks 1–3. Helps teachers monitor progress and adjust instruction.
Week 6 — Final Exam (Post‑Test Diagnostic) Measures all major skills from Weeks 1–6 again. Provides complete growth data for your school.

These three data points allow us to produce a Math Guru® Intervention Impact Report showing class‑level and school‑level growth.

Daily Work vs. Benchmark Assessments

Daily Work (Teacher‑Owned Google Forms)

Teachers receive “Make a Copy” links for all daily intervention activities. This means:

Teachers own their Google Forms
Teachers see all daily student scores
You (The Math Guru® Series) do not collect daily student data
Schools remain fully FERPA‑compliant

Daily work stays private and teacher‑controlled.

Benchmark Assessments (Math Guru® Owned Google Forms)

To measure program effectiveness, students complete three benchmark assessments using Google Forms that are owned by The Math Guru® Series.

This allows us to:

collect benchmark data
measure student growth
analyze intervention effectiveness
provide school‑level reports
support data‑driven decision making

Only benchmark data is collected — never daily work.

How Teachers Assign Benchmarks (FERPA‑Friendly)

Teachers will see two types of Google Form links inside your member area:

1. “Make a Copy” Links (Daily Work)

Teachers click “Make a Copy” to create their own private version of each daily Google Form. This ensures:

teachers own their data
student responses stay private
you remain FERPA‑safe

2. Benchmark Links (Pre, Mid, Post)

These links go directly to your benchmark Google Forms. Teachers assign these benchmarks to students through:

Google Classroom
a shared link
a QR code
any LMS the school uses

Students complete the benchmark on Chromebooks. Benchmark results go directly to The Math Guru® Series for analysis.

Teachers do not make a copy of benchmark forms — students must take your version so growth can be measured accurately.

How to Join the Math Guru School & PTA Partnership Program

Joining the program is simple and designed to fit smoothly into your school’s purchasing workflow.

Step 1 — Submit Your School Information or PTA Information Share your school or organization details so we can set up your institutional profile.

Step 2 — Choose Your First Partnership Activity Schools may place an academic order to activate their Partner School tier. PTAs may schedule a Family Math Night, Parent Workshop, or Seasonal Learning Event to activate their family engagement benefits.

Step 3 — Access Your Benefits Once enrolled, your school or PTA receives access to partnership benefits based on your role:

Schools receive academic resources, intervention programs, bulk pricing, and tier-based benefits.
PTAs receive family engagement tools, event support, fundraising opportunities, and a customized School Success Hub.

Step 4 — Grow Into Higher Tiers Your annual spend determines your tier level. As your school continues ordering, you unlock additional discounts, free classroom bundles, priority support, and professional learning opportunities. PTAs do not participate in tier levels.

Step 5 — Renew Annually Your partnership resets each year to ensure benefits stay aligned with your school or PTA’s current needs.
